Together
Together is a fictional website-based organization, headquartered in Oslo, that aims to promote social responsibility and sustainability. Its mission is to connect individuals in need of clothes and shoes with those who want to donate their old belongings to support those in need. To achieve this, Together is working on developing a user-friendly responsive website that enables people to easily find available clothing items. Additionally, the platform will provide a space for individuals to post ads about the items they wish to donate. By facilitating this exchange, Together strives to create an inclusive online community where people can actively participate in the act of giving and receiving.

Project goal
Together acknowledges three key challenges in Norway: clothing and shoe waste harming the environment, individuals lacking access to new clothes and shoes, and the desire for direct, personal donations. To tackle these challenges, Together aims to create a platform that enables sustainable donations, connects those in need with contributors, and fosters a community of giving and support.
Key challenges or constraints
The key challenge for Together is the competition from existing platforms like Finn.no and other organizations specializing in clothes donations. However, Together differentiates itself by offering a dedicated platform solely for donations, fostering direct communication between donors and recipients, and creating a more personalized and impactful experience. Overcoming competition and establishing itself as a trusted and preferred platform for donations will be a crucial challenge for Together.
Research study details
User interviews conducted using Together's data revealed a strong desire among participants to donate clothes to those in need, driven by a shared concern for the environment and the potential positive impact on recipients.
